Premium Tatkal facility in Indian Railway system is such a excellent means that people like me frequently traveling in the last minute notice are benefited to a large extent. If you book through Premium Tatkal you are sure of what birth you want. But I find this facility is not extended to many trains. For example I travel frequently from Bangalore to Chennai by Bangalore Mail I get Premium Tatkal booking but when I return from Chennai to Bangalore, I don’t get it. This facility is not available. Atleast Indian Railway should maintain this facility for the trains running between two stations if one way is already existing. People traveling by Premium Tatkal should get some more extra benefits like water bottle, some biscuits. Because they are premium travelers. Incidentally I have an idea to those who travel by Premium booking. If you want to pay exactly same Tatkal price book premium tatkal exactly at 10 o’clock.
I am planning to visit the Shrine of Mata Vashno Devi on 19th March, 2016. I got booked in Hemkunt Express but its a wait listed no. What all options are available to get a confirmed ticket. Again on my return journey on 20th, its a waiting list on Shri Shakti express.Please advise as we have 2 small children in the group of 7

No You can’t book premium Tatkal on Vikramshila Express, because train number 12367 – Vikramshila Express is not in the Premium trains list published by Indian Railways
